The end of dotML Mali domains
For the last couple of years, this blog and some of my emails have used the 🐺🐬.ml domain name for routing. Mali was one of the few registrars that allowed emojis in domains, which made it attractive to me. Mali and the .ml domain was also in the news recently for being the recipient of mis-sent military emails.
The .ml domains recently had their contract with Freenom end and went back to the Mali government, and with that it seems like 🐺🐬.ml is officially dead. I'd actually paid for the domain through 2028, so hopefully I'll get a refund for the remaining amount (or maybe get to claim the domain back someday, although that's likely wishful thinking).

So now this blog has gone back to wolfin.me. Welcome!
