The end of dotML Mali domains
For the last couple years this blog and some of my emails have been routed through the πΊπ¬.ml domain name. Mali was one of the few registrars that allowed emoji in domains, which made it attractive for me. Mali and the .ml domain were also in the news recently for being the recipient of mis-sent military emails.
The .ml domains recently had their contract with Freenom end and went back to the Mali government, and with that it seems like πΊπ¬.ml is officially dead. I'd actually payed for the domain through 2028, so hopefully I'll get a refund for the remaining amount (or maybe get to claim the domain back somday, although that's likely wishful thinking).
So now this blog has gone back to wolfin.me. Welcome!
