So maybe I struggle with focus.

I'm dug about 20,000 words into the chakat novel I mentioned last night; and then when I wrote a different story has come out instead. I've broken that off and published it as a piece of serial fiction over at a domain I've set up for my episodic fiction, Paw and Pen. The story is called Angel Corps (not sold on the title yet, maybe I'll change it someday) and it deals with a lot of paranormal and supernatural themes that I've been wanting to write about but wouldn't fit into the chakat universe.

If this goes well, there's a decent chance I'll publish the chakat story episodically as well, as I have enough for about 10-15 episodes already written. Maybe enough folks will start reading my stuff that it gives me some incentive to keep up with the writing more structurally, too! ADHD does well when there's a deadline and pressure, and when I'm writing a novel that no one is expecting, there's almost no pressure.
